Laura

Vocal Teacher

Online and in-person lessons available (location: Toronto)

With First Class Honours Laura has completed her level 10 RCM exam in voice and is currently working towards her ARCT.

She has performed in Western University’s Opera Alcina by Handel as well as the Western’s production of Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck.

She holds a Western University in the Bachelor of Music program in voice with Honours and performance.

Laura has been singing in choirs for over 12 years. Her favourite composers are Schubert, Donaudy, Puccini and Bellini.

If you are looking for a vocal teacher who can give you a solid foundation and technique Laura is the right teacher for you! Learn how to have proper breath support, open your vowels, increase your power and vocal range and properly mix your voice.

Outside of music Laura loves dancing. Once a competitive dancer, today she still enjoys taking classes in contemporary and ballet.

Gabe

Guitar Teacher

With over 10 years of experience Gabe is multifaceted in acoustic, electric and bass guitar. He is diverse in a variety of genres including; pop, folk, rock and heavy metal.

He mainly focuses on songwriting and performing “finger-style” guitar. If you are interested in increasing your dexterity in plucking out melodies, becoming more creative in your playing or simply gaining speed on your instrument Gabe is the teacher for you!

He also has a solid knowledge in both music history and theory making him a competitive teach in helping you read music and understand its components.

Apart from being a phenomenal guitarist Gabe enjoys video games, programming and film.

Ris

Piano, Vocal, Songwriting Teacher

With over 15 years of experience Ris has written hundreds of songs and is a master at harmonies. If you are interested in songwriting or need a coach to help hone your skills or break your "writers block" Ris is the teacher for you! She can teach you how to even record and sync your video with it! She also teachers how to sing and play with guitar, ukulele and piano.

Brought up with Royal Conservatory of Music she is well diverse in all genres from classical to pop. Take your RCM piano exams and achieve your certificates or learn to play outside of your sheet music creating a world of improvisation.

Ris also has her BFA from York University in music where she took extensive courses in songwriting, piano improvisation and enjoyed singing in multiple choirs.
